Kairos (καιρός) is a Greek word meaning a critical time or a moment of supreme significance.

That time is upon us.

Once-a-year, a group of savages converge on a foreign land to take up a physical challenge like no other; a challenge of the mind, body, & spirit.

Not all will understand, and that's ok.

Not all will answer the call, but the men pay no attention.

And not all will survive, but that's the point.

Welcome to Kairos 5.

Run and hike a combined 71 miles over the course of two days, traversing through the Great Smoky Mountains along the Appalachian Trail.

October 1: Arrive at Knoxville, TN hotel

October 2: 36 miles, camp on trail

October 3: 35 miles, ceremony at hotel

October 4: Conquer the world

12 men who are willing to train, fight, and sacrifice for a worthwhile cause and once-in-a-lifetime experience.
